Description

2013 Malibu Txi, single owner, never used for pulling tournaments. 99% of use on private waterski lake in Wisconsin. The boat is in very good condition. Entire gel coat just cleaned up and acid washed. Carpet was covered with carpet saver its entire life. Rear seat has been out of the boat since new. Front seats have been in storage for past 5 years. (See photo of custom carpeted platforms installed to cover the bow storage areas….way easier for keeping it clean!) The boat is on a boat lift during the summer with side/stern sunshade protection.

This is the Indmar “Malibu Monsoon” 5.7 liter engine, a couple of years ago I upgraded it with Edelbrock heads, a custom cam to match the heads, roller rocker arms and moly push rods. Although the meter says just over 1100 hours, this past winter I had a complete rebuild done, the cylinders were honed, new oil pump installed, spark plugs and wires replaced, timing chain replaced, gaskets replaced. Fuel injectors inspected/cleaned/replaced where needed. Coil, distributor cap, rotor and fuel pressure regulator recently replaced. In summary, this isn’t a new engine, but its pretty close. (And of course very regular oil changes, transmission fluid changes, air filter cleaning, etc…)

I’ve done a few other improvements to the boat over the years. The touchscreen that is subject to failure was replaced with a Wakeswitches Consoles switch panel . (See photo.) The struts on the stern trunk lids and engine cover have been replaced. I’ve added additional cup holders in the sidewall and I dropped the bimini a bit lower for better shade and a much improved look. The stern trunk lids have been replaced and I added a second blower for more air flow and faster venting.
