Description
A historic perspective in water ski design. Back in the day Mike Suyderhoud used the "body slam" technique to make his turns. This ski employed a wide tunnel in the front that transitioned to a narrow tunnel under the front foot. This ski also had large edges to ride low in the water in order to slow the ski down in the pre-turn.
This ski is for nostalgia purposes only and should not be ridden - too old and risk of breakage.
Note Safety Grip front binding - period correct for this ski. Fin is missing.
Nice for a lake house wall of shame. Your grandpa can tell you stories of what the real skiers of the day had to endure.
