Description
The Hexcel was the first ski to use open cell aluminum honeycomb core. This ski also was one of the early skis to use a wide tunnel that flattened out in the tail. It also employed very narrow edges.
This ski design was used by Kris LaPoint during his stellar career.
When I skied this ski back in the day, it would fill up with water and only the tip of the ski would show.
This ski is for nostalgia purposes only and should not be skied on. It will break. Period correct Safety Grip binding.
I will not be available 6 - 30 May.
Great ski for your lake cabin wall of shame. Your grandpa can tell you stories of what real skiers endured in his day.
